Hey folks,

all the work on the music end of the record has been completed. Everything has been mixed, mastered and sequenced and it all sounds mighty good to my ears. So while I'm working on the design of the booklet, I'm sending the CDs out to record companies hoping they'll take the bait and agree to release it soon.

We're also rehearsing some of the new songs with the band and are working on putting together a bunch of live dates in the near future. One interesting project that I'm working on is the "Songwriter Night" at Wurzburg's premier live music club, the Omnibus (www.omnibus-wuerzburg.de). Starting in February, I'll be hosting a songwriter night there every second Monday of the month. There'll always be me and another songwriter (or maybe a duo) performing solo and then performing a bunch of songs together. The first featured artist in that series will be Billy Goodman, guitarist/singer/songwriter extraordinnaire from Nashville, Tennessee, now residing in Heidelberg/Germany. Check out his site www.billygoodman.com. I've already got a bunch of other interesting folks lined up for this series.

Next up, though, will be our live appearance on December 11 at the Blue Rose records christmas party in Heilbronn (at the Bürgerhaus Böckingen). We'll be opening for the Drive-By Truckers and it should be a fun night at a great place. Get your tickets at www.bluerose-records.com

One more thing: I've been made aware of the fact that the bigfoot-email-address that I'm using has been down for awhile. I don't know for how long I have been unable to receive your email. Everything should be back to normal now, the address should be working again. In case I haven't responded to anything you've sent me recently, chances are it was because of that glitch. Please write again to Rill@bigfoot.com or leave a note in the guest book and I'll get back to you promptly.

Stay in touch and I'll see y'all in Heilbronn,
Markus

PS: Duane Jarvis was kind enough to mention me in an article in the December issue of the German Rolling Stone. Check it out.
