Hey everybody,

I hope you're all doing good just like I am. Here's the news from the gunslinger camp.

Two songs of mine will be included in an American independent feature film. The movie's working title is "The Last Stand", the songs are "Hobo Dream" and "Hope I'll Get To Heaven". Both songs will be featured prominently in the movie. Shooting is scheduled to begin in March. I can't wait to see that flick.

The Gunslingers are currently breaking in a new rhythm section, Clemens Noelle on drums and Felix Himmler on bass. Things are starting to sound real good and it's a lot of fun kicking around some old songs and working up some new stuff. Looks like the April 2 gig will be the debut of that particular incarnation of the Gunslingers.
Jan got married and moved out of town and the Captain has finished his doctorate and started working long hours as Germany's most groove-oriented mathematician. They're both unable to commit to the band a hundred per cent at this point but will will remain honorary 'slingers and may very well sit in with us here or there.

Right now I'm stoked about playing with Felix & Clemens and I'm sure we'll sound real good together with Dieter & Patrik.

Other than that we're booking gigs and trying to get around some this spring & summer.

Oh ... and if you want your very own, self-burned copy of The Hobo Companion - a collection of live tracks, solo demos, and fine cover versions - drop me a note to Rill@bigfoot.com
I'm telling ya, the thing costs only ten bucks but easily sounds like eleven or twelve.
While you're at it, you may as well order the whole enchilada - Hobo Dream & The Hobo Companion as a double package for 20 Euro.

Stay safe & stay in touch,
Markus
